Derrick has developed an APP as self taught developer, RechargeMyBiz which connects Mentors/Advisors/Experts with Entrepreneurs and is found on Google Play. The APP was motivated by a need to engage with his over 300k social media platforms followers directly. He is the founder of Mentors Without Borders which offer FREE mentorship, advisory services and Enterprise Development programs in partnership and collaboration with Governments, Institutions and Private Sector. The Foundation has a pool of mentors who offer their services at no cost to the Entrepreneurs. Mentors are from Across the world since the Foundation is Global He has worked with GEP and other government departments offering Mentorship, advices and strategy, he worked with Private sector, he also mentors and advices individuals who want to start businesses and those already in businesses locally and internationally. He is regularly featured on TV and Radio talking about Entrepreneurship and Enterprise development. My name is Michael Beetge, I am a shareholder of Goshen Snail Farm PTY LTD. Our family started researching the idea of snail farming in 2017 and so used the entire year to travel and investigate the farming model as well as the possible processing of end products here in South Africa. The countries visited were: Ireland, England, Cyprus and Turkey. Needless to say, once we had completed our investigations, we all took a large step to fully invest our time and effort into growing this industry from the ground upwards. Today we have multiple products available for order as well as a few revolutionary ideas that are in the research and development stages, with the aid of institutions such as the University of Pretoria. We have more or less 30 farmers involved in getting the farming volumes as efficient as possible with some farmers looking at putting up 3 Ha of shade net tunnels solely for the farming of snails; our factory is ready to process 500kg of snails per day with plans to increase to 3000kg per day in the near future. The factory is set up in Mossel Bay, but there are already plans to look at opening a similar factory in the Gauteng area. We have partners starting up snail farms in Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe. These projects are very exciting and we look to make a massive footprint in the world’s supply of escargot with the aid of our international neighbours in these countries.

Dagmar Breiling is the CEO of Funding Connection. She is a serial entrepreneur and an international Funding Strategist with a master’s degree in economics from the University of Kiel, Germany. Nozipho Ndlovu is a Founder and Managing Director of Azmon Nimrod Consulting, Nozipho completed a Bachelor of Social Science Degree and an MBA at UKZN, where her academic research was focused on Small Businesses. She is the author of Manual of a Job Seeker – a book which assists the youth in their job search and career management process. Nozipho serves on the Board of Directors for One Voice South Africa. She is also a Certified National Trainer for the Empretec Program, (A United Nations Conference for Trade and Development program for Entrepreneurs). Steven Howard is an eCommerce Product Owner at Netcash with almost a decade of successful experience in online trading and digital marketing in the retail sector. He specializes in eCommerce strategy for start-ups and commercial entities and hosts regular live sessions to share his knowledge and help entrepreneurs develop solid foundations for a successful eCommerce business.
